Michael D. Brown obtained his B.A. Degree from Cleveland State University in 1975. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Southern University Law Center in 1979. He is admitted to practice before the Louisiana State Supreme Court and the U.S. Eastern, Middle & Western District Courts of Louisiana. Michael D. Brown formerly served as a Staff Attorney with Kisatchie Legal Services Corporation, Natchitoches, Louisiana (1982 - 1983); and he formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District Attorney, 4th Judicial District, Monroe, Louisiana (1983 - 1984). Michael D. Brown has been employed with the Louisiana Department of Social Services, Office of Family Support, Support Enforcement Services, since 1984. He is currently the Attorney Supervisor for Support Enforcement Services, State Office. Michael D. Brown is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the National Bar Association and the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society. He has been a Past President of the Louisiana Child Support Enforcement Association (LCSEA), and he has served a past LCSEA board member. He has also served as a Past President of the Southwest Regional Support Enforcement Association. Michael D. Brown is married to Linda Piper Brown and they have two daughters, D'Lana and Kaylar. |
